I love chocolate!Â Most people don’t know that I have a secret stash of chocolates which I hide from my husband so that I can selfishy steal a little piece of heaven…sometimes on a daily basis.Â Some of my favorites are dark chocolate truffles from Godiva (of course!) and Sweet Shop USA.Â Sweet Shop USA has these huge truffles and we give them as gifts and also encourage our clients to give them as gifts/favors because they are a pure delight!Â I know one of our favorite Dallas florists, Urban Blossom, carries the Sweet Shop chocolates in theirÂ studio and boutiqueÂ in Addison.

For a more expensive indulgence, try Anna Shea Chocolates.Â They are jewel-like pieces of chocolate that are meticulously handcrafted and designed.Â Their unique designs and flavor combinations will transport you to places no ordinary chocolate has taken you before. They are “almost” too pretty to eat.Â

DFWeddings did an amazing 4-page spread of Event Studioâ€™s clients, Julie Ruiz and Craig Deaosâ€™, March wedding celebration. Julie acknowledged Mandy Phalen as the MVP of her wedding for eliminating her stress. â€œHearing words like this makes our jobs so fulfilling!â€ says Mandy Phalen. They chose the beautiful Marie Gabrielle as the location for the ceremony and reception.

The Knot – Spring 08

The spring 2008 issue of the The Knot featured one of Event Studio’s weddings. Amy Bartosik and Brant Wilson were married on a beautiful fall day in Kansas City. Amy chose apple green and chocolate brown as her color scheme and did an excellent job carrying the “a + b” theme into the details.
